Trash Pick Up Reminder
As a reminder, each Lakes of Rosehill resident pays for "back door" pickup of our garbage. It is not necessary to put your trash out on the curb. This keeps our neighborhood looking better on trash day! The exceptions to this would be if you have any large trash items, or over and above your normal number of trash cans to pick up, or the recycling bin. In these cases, you are advised to put the trash and the recycling bin on the curb. On all other "normal" trash days, they will pick it up by the by your back door or garage.
Remember to keep your trash sticker up-to-date on your trash bin. Waste Management will tag your trash bin if it does not show a current sticker.
***Neighborhood Watch Volunteer Needed***
If you would like to get involved with the neighborhood watch program in our neighborhood, please contact Bethany Avant. She is looking for someone to take over chairing the Neighborhood watch program. This is a great way to get involved and help keep our neighborhood safe.
Neighborhood Watch Network: If you have not done so, please join. All you need to do is provide your block captain with your name, phone number and email address, and you will be contacted with pertinent neighborhood news. You can also contact your block captain with your concerns.
If you do not know your block captain, please check the Block Captain List below and in the neighborhood newsletter. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Bethany at ravant2@comcast.net. You will notice that not all streets list two names, the second name is the back-up for vacations, etc.

Aerobic System Maintenance
Are you concerned about whether or not your septic system is being maintained properly? Does your system smell bad? Is there a bad odor when your sprinklers run? There shouldn't be. Your septic sprinklers should NOT be spraying outside of your property bounderies, not into the street or into a neighbor's yard. If they are, have your maintenance service company adjust the lenght of the spray. Remember, each home owner is required to maintain their system, having it inspected each year.
